Staff Recognition Awards

As part of our commitment to celebrate excellence we plan to recognise the achievement of:

  • teams or individuals within Walsall Children’s Services – Serco who have provided exceptional service or support to our stakeholders
  • teams or individuals within schools or other settings who have delivered excellent service to children, young people and families in Walsall

    We would like to invite your nominations as part of that process.

    For Serco staff, we’ve based our awards around Serco’s Governing Principles to recognise excellence in the fields of innovation, inspirational leadership, commitment and impact.  There’s also a special ‘heart’ award for individuals who have demonstrated other exceptional qualities.  These awards will be presented at our annual staff conference which takes place on Wednesday 21 July.

    This year, for the first time, the Next Practice Network has sponsored the introduction of Celebration Certificates for schools and other settings.  There are two categories – excelling at innovation and demonstrating outstanding commitment – which will be judged by the Next Practice Network.

    The form below contains more information about each category and inviting your nominations.  Completed forms should be returned to Karen Fellows at the Education Development Centre by the nomination deadline of Friday 18 June.  Your help in recognising achievement which helps to continually improve our service, schools and other settings in Walsall is much appreciated.
