Accreditation
From the very first year onwards Walsall Children’s Services is committed to supporting teachers in their continuing professional development. With this in mind we have collaborated with the University of Wolverhampton to produce a portfolio that supports teachers in becoming more reflective practitioners, capable of constant improvement. At no additional cost to them this can be granted 30 credits towards master's level qualifications. Increasingly other professional development opportunities carry accreditation, making it relatively straightforward to gain an MA in Education in Walsall. As teachers work to improve the learning experiences of the people of Walsall we want to ensure they can receive personal recognition for this.

We are also working to ensure all Walsall schools can provide their teachers with the high quality support they need. In Walsall we aim to provide teachers with higher quality experiences so they can make rapid progress.
