Consultation on Admission Arrangements for the Academic Year 2011/12

The Education and Inspections Act 2006 and School Admissions Code require all "Admission Authorities" (Local Authorities for Community or Voluntary Controlled schools) or Governing Bodies (in the case of Voluntary Aided schools, Foundation schools or Academies) to consult about their proposed admissions arrangements for the following year.

Formal consultation begins on 1 November 2009 and will continue until the end of February. Comments in respect of schools which are not under the control of the Local Authority should be sent to the Chair of the Governing Body of the school concerned.
