Welcome to the data team.
We are mainly responsible for the production of reports and analysis based on the Local Authority’s performance at the end of each Key Stage. We support schools and LA officers in the use of data to inform school improvement. We work closely with colleagues in the MIS and ICT teams to ensure statutory requirements are met by schools and that data is only entered once. We have written a policy for data and information and are about to produce a calendar of key data dates for schools’ use.
Our work includes:
· Collecting and processing end of Foundation Stage and KS1 results
· Collation and analysis of results
· Statutory returns to DCSF
· Collection of pupil data from schools
We use NCER software (EPAS and Keypas) to support our analysis as well as DCSF products such as RAISEonline.
We produce:
· School Data Summaries (Previously 'School Profiles')
· Target setting forms
· Progress and Attainment data
· SEN Profile
· Attainment Report
We support schools with the use and interpretation of:
· Data in School Data Summaries
· RAISEonline
· Fischer Family Trust
· Data Transfer issues
We provide a bespoke Ofsted data support service to all schools purchasing our SLA. We offer training to schools on all aspects of data support as well as training on software and web based packages such as Raise online.
