Offsite/Educational Visits Guidance
This manual sets out Walsall Children's Services health & safety standards for offsite/educational visits and provides practical guidance for anyone planning an offsite visit. Any member of staff leading visits must make themselves familiar with relevant sections of the document and ensure they follow the procedures within it.
All schools will be given a hard copy loose-leaf version of the manual (dated August 2009). Updates will be made available electronically and schools should ensure their printed copy is kept up to date; to keep updating simple, each Section and Appendix is available to download separately
